And yep sometimes I sharpen the design at the end but not much because then it will look weird ^^; and have make that mistake a couple of times XD and yep overlay and multiply work really well to enhance color ;3

And that sharpening part totally explained it all. xD I had figured you probably used overlay/multiply/etc.

Well what I do mostly is make a new layer of the picture and I change it most of the time to Soft Light or Overlay or multiply, it depends of how much colors I want, sometimes I lower the opacity if don't want much color or I use the Curves ( Image/adjustment/curves) option to darken of lighten the image. And sometimes it depend of the quality of the image after I finished editing the colors I give a lil bit of sharpen (filter/sharpen/sharpen or the sharpen tool with very low strength) to the image. Hope what I say doesn't sound too much complicated >_>; I suck at English and I suck explaining things ;___; If you have any more questions or something just let me know.

Um, the effect you did to the scan overall, that made the lines of the scan more....bright?
